>15th August 1947, the Independence Day of India is a very important and memorable day in Indian History. This was the day when India became free from the colonial rule of the British. It was at the stroke at midnight when the first Prime Minister of the nation, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru announced that the independence of the country and unfurled our tricolor flag.
